Software Engineer + Visual Designer

Thoughtful design. Well-crafted software.

I bring design and engineering together to create digital experiences that are clear, accessible, and enjoyable to use—from the first sketch to the finished product.

My work combines UX, visual design, front-end development, and AI-assisted engineering.

About Me

A designer’s eye. An engineer’s mindset.

Hi, I’m Arun—a software engineer and visual designer from Kerala, India, based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

I work across user experience, interface design, and front-end engineering, turning complex requirements into practical digital experiences. I enjoy connecting the details of design with the realities of development: how a page looks, how it behaves, and how easily someone can use it.

My experience includes public-facing portals, enterprise applications, content-driven websites, and reusable UI systems. Accessibility, responsive design, and maintainable code are central to how I work.

I’m also exploring how AI can support design and development—from prototyping and coding to documentation and problem-solving.

What I Do

  1. UX & Visual Design

I turn requirements into clear user flows, thoughtful layouts, and consistent interfaces, with attention to typography, spacing, accessibility, and interaction.

  2. Front-End Engineering

I build responsive applications and reusable components that connect design intent with reliable, maintainable implementation.

  3. Design Systems

I create shared foundations—tokens, components, and patterns—that help teams design and build consistently.

  4. AI-Assisted Development

I use AI tools to explore ideas, prototype interfaces, support implementation, and improve everyday workflows, with human review throughout.

How I Work

Understand → Design → Build → Validate

  1. Understand

Clarify the problem, user needs, and project constraints.

  2. Design

Explore flows, layouts, and interactions that make the experience easier to use.

  3. Build

Translate the design into responsive interfaces and reusable components.

  4. Validate

Review usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.
